Farmers Independent  Telephone Company is located on the corner of Madison and Oak Street in downtown Grantsburg.  We have been providing telecommunications services since 1907 to the Village of Grantsburg the the following townships: Anderson, Daniels, Grantsburg, Trade Lake, West Marshland, Wood River, and Sterling.

Grantsburg Telcom, established in 1995,  is a subsidiary company of Farmers Independent Telephone Company.  Grantsburg Telcom provides Cable TV, Internet Service, and Long Distance services.

A Customer Service Representative is available to answer your questions from 8:00 am-4:30 pm Monday through Friday.

We provide free service up to the home to all subscribers for cable and telephone related problems.  These service calls are attended to from 8:00am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday.  We have a technician on call weekends and evenings to attend to cable and telephone outages.

The second telephone office was upstairs in the Thoreson Building.   The office was in the northwest corner where you are able to see the awnings.

Our current office was completed in 1974.  It is located on the corner of Madison Av and Oak St.  This office was remodeled in 2006.
