WEBMAIL
With webmail, you can access your emails from any online connection in the world, simply by going to our website. For example, if you’re visiting family in another state and don’t have a smartphone with you, you can use their home computer to send and receive emails.
EMAIL PROTECTION
Spam emails and virus-carrying messages have been increasing in number and complexity. To help address this, Grantsburg Telcom has an outbound email spam filtering system. This system provides protection for our mail servers to ensure delivery of legitimate email to other email providers. It also provides protection for you — to alert you if your computer has been infected with a spam-sending virus, if a spambot is operating, or if the password for your account has been compromised to allow spammers to send messages via webmail.
A shorter Grantsburg Telcom email address is available!
username@gtelcom.net
If you use username@grantsburgtelcom.net for your email, you now have the option to receive email sent to username@gtelcom.net. This option is already set up for all of our customers so you can start using it immediately. It works by forwarding all email sent to you at username@gtelcom.net to your username@grantsburgtelcom.net email address.
You don’t have to change a thing and continue to log in to receive your emails just as you do today.
Your email program should also give you the option to set up username@gtelcom.net as your sender address. If you would like assistance with your email program, please call our help desk at 715-463-HELP.
*Webmail login will not change. You will still have to log in with your original address @grantsburgtelcom.net
